Maryanne Vollers

Maryanne Vollers’ path has taken her from Rolling Stone magazine to the plains of Africa, the inner circles of Washington, DC, the backroads of the Mississippi Delta, and the mountains of Montana. She has written extensively about politics, justice, adventure, entertainment, and the environment. Her books include Ghosts of Mississippi (1995), about the murder of civil rights leader Medgar Evers; Lone Wolf:  Eric Rudolph – Murder, Myth, and the Pursuit of an American Outlaw, (2006); and many collaborations including the memoirs of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Dr. Jerri Nielsen, Sissy Spacek, Ashley Judd, and Billie Jean King.
